My name is John Robinson, President of Robinson Concepts, Inc.
So, my online life began about 14 years ago. I was in 6th grade, and our class was talking back and forth with students in Russia to setup a foreign exchange trip for some of the kids there. Back then, only the coolest kids were allowed to sit at one of those IBM computers with a color monitor. There were about 3 in the whole lab. All of the other computers had monochrome monitors. Anyway, there was about a 3-5 minute lag between the time we would send a message to the Russian students and when we would receive a message back. Regardless, I was hooked.
The first domain name I ever registered was “personalcomptuers.com”, not realizing that the t and the u were transposed (and I thought I found a good one). For 11 years now, I have been active online – creating websites, installing scripts and writing articles (I don’t like the term “ebook”).
Amongst all of this, I managed to try to get involved in other types of careers. Within a 4 year period, I mingled around a lot of different ventures. I worked technical support for Dell computers, received my EMT license and volunteered as an EMT/Firefighter, worked as a surgical aide, autopsy assistant, an office manager for a 3 physician doctor’s office, started my own medical transcription company, published and mailed a 10,000 issue monthly classified ad newspaper, owned a home remodeling company, then finally decided that I should have stuck with what I knew best – the Internet.
I had been concentrating for years with website design and SEO services, but woke up one day and decided to write some articles about how to advertise online. To my surprise, tons of people bought this article off of me for $5 per copy! So, I wrote some more articles, then some more, and every time I would write an article I would find people willing to pay me for this information. I received great feedback from those who read the articles I wrote, so I decided to join in to the blog craze and start a blog to share what information I knew with as many people as possible.
And here you are!
I hope you enjoy this site and find some of the information here beneficial to you.
