RSS Directory

A few days ago, I saw that 45n5.com released their version of the top 100 make money online blogs. I skimmed over it, but I didn’t notice my site on there. Then, this morning I noticed some traffic coming to my site from 45n5.com. I went back to that list and noticed SiteFever in the 62nd spot! When did that happen???

If there is any accuracy to their list, I wouldn’t say that’s too bad for only 2 months online. Maybe we can double that in just two months more.

Speaking of making money on SiteFever, let me quickly mention the new advertisers so far for September:

Macewan.org
Stop Digital Piracy Blog
Elegant Directory
InternetMarketingMind.com
ForSaleByPublisher.com
BlogsForMoney.com
BlogAboutYourBlog.com
Patrick Bisallion- Still developing his site, but already prepaid a 125×125 sitewide banner ad.

September is off to a good start! With your help, we can easily break our $1,000 goal for the month- all without ANY ad networks!

Maybe one of your blog readers recommended your site for inclusion on the list 😉

BTW, InternetMarketingMind.com and ForSaleByPublisher.com are both the same link up there… not sure if that was on purpose…

Now my link is broken ;-(

Looks like one link spans 3 of the names 😀

You’ve got to love that “advanced” HTML editor with WordPress. (Yeah right) If you want anything done right, you’ve got to enter the HTML yourself.

I have it fixed now- sorry about that.

Cheers :-)

The Blogger editor is prety bad too – in fact, I’m not even sure it has one – all I ever remember is writing my own HTML, and linebreaks get swapped with s. Even as a web developer I find that a little nasty.

The BlogEngine.net editor is really good (tiymce or something), has a nice WYSIWYG, but the code is completely clean – not like the crap IE usually generates – all uppercase with no quoted attributes! 😀

John,
Congratulations on making the list! I’ve seen traffic from it too and with all the links that list is getting the traffic will probably continue for a while.

I agree with Shaun, you deserve it! I don’t know some of those other sites on that list but atleast you can prove what you are doing with your blog and how well its doing! When are you gonna add the little meter thing back up or is that no more? I liked it to see how far you were.

Wow, you’re really bringing that much cash in on your blog. I’d like it if my blog would bring in just a little. I guess adsense is doing good on my blog, better than my other site.

I’d like my blog to get some google PR so I can use some TLA or something.

I was 101 at one point, but now I’m 135! :-(

Blogs that are less than 3 months old get penalized in two big ways – one for not having a PageRank, and one because Alexa’s traffic rank is the last 3 month average (so evn if you had the same traffic as John Chow, it’d take 3 months before it showed the same value there) :-(

I’m hoping the list is going to be left up there, so once we get our PR’s and 3 months in Alexa we’ll get a better indication of how we’re doing 😀

Hey John,

A big congrats on being in such a top spot. I made the list yesterday but fell below 100 today. Never mind, it’ll happen someday.

You are doing just great with this site.
Monika 😉

I also took 5th spot of the feed sponsors today for my new blog BloggingTruths.Com. Also i would take the same spot for subsequent months.
Good Luck

Wow, congratulations! You ARE doing great for a newer blog, in all aspects. Ten times better than my own blog, at least, which has been up for many months. I need to work harder. Keep it up! :)
