It’s time to pick SiteFever’s Favorite of the Week again, and this time I’ve chosen BlueJar.com.

I am a frequent visitor to the BlueJar blog, where valuable information is given on subjects such as affiliate marketing, hosting, domains & Internet tutorials. The recent article that caught my eye was The Insiders Guide to Buying Web Hosting: Server Reliability.

The principals given in the article about how to wisely shop for a hosting company are very helpful. I recently had to take some time to shop around for a new hosting company after my bad experience with Hostgator.

BlueJar.com features a full content RSS feed, which everyone knows I am a fan of. I would recommend everyone stop by BlueJar.com to check it out, or check out their MyBlogLog community.

Thanks for the mention! Glad my information is useful :c). I added you to my Geek Train yesterday too if you want to hop on board.

Thats too bad what happened over at HostGator! You can’t move servers? What the heck kind of policy is that? Good thing you moved, less stress is the best! :c)

No problem! I enjoy your site and the content you come up with on such a regular basis…

Yeah, even the President of HostGator refused to let me change servers- even after I offered to pay them for it.

Their solution was to open a new hosting account, gamble at the fact that it would be setup on a different server, then move all of my files to the new hosting account and cancel my old account. I told them that it’s way more hassle and work for both of us. It would be easier for THEM to just move my account instead of dragging the billing dpt. etc. into everything. Not only that, but why would I want to purchase a new hosting account after all of the problems I had been having?

Anyway, keep up the great job on your site! I’m sure we’ll be in touch soon.
