Sorry to hear that AdSense banned you.. $500-$1,000/mo. will be a dent in your income stream for sure!

You must have had a very high CTR or a great niche to achieve such a high income from Adsense.

I will likely be dropping AdSense at the end of this month. According to my tracking scripts they are discounting over 90% of my clicks since August.

As for naming... Reminds me of therapistfinder.com It was for finding therapists but we all read it as The Rapist Finder dot com :)

I have a similar problem on my blog, and it is annoying enough to want to switch advertisers. I get ads about trenching on my web development blog, devtrench.com (apparently google doesn't get metaphor). I was worried about this when I registered the domain, but I like the name so I just live with the badly targeted ads for now. It doesn't take long for google to index my content and put up better ads, but every time I see an ad for trench digging or trenchers I add them to my competitive ad filter in ad sense.

<p>Nice topic john but its a sad day for me, i was doing pretty good in adsense today i got banned apparently a reason that is really sad "they telling that i clicked on their ads" which isn't possible as i always USED A ad blocker to disable the ads on my site, and took extreme care when checking out the code layout and stuff. Besides that i always send emails to google if i found any suspicious activities on the site. I dono what to do now, im just clueless my only major money maker is gone others are *****. I should try just like you to get direct advertisers, its real tough thou as i haven't got any offers. can you please help me with the process to atleast convince google to reinstate me into the program.</p>
